Alkaline Zinc Electroplating
Premium Service

Alkaline Zinc Electroplating

Alkaline zinc plating is the most advanced zinc plating technology, providing superior corrosion protection and a bright, uniform finish. Using an alkaline (non-cyanide) bath chemistry, this process offers exceptional throwing power — the ability to coat deep recesses, holes, and complex geometries uniformly.

Ideal for automotive components, structural hardware, and industrial fasteners, our alkaline zinc line delivers consistently high-quality results at production scale.

Technical Specifications
  • Coating thickness: 5–25 microns
  • Salt spray resistance: 72–240 hrs
  • Bath type: Alkaline non-cyanide
  • Process temp: 20–35°C
  • Plating efficiency: 95%+
  • RoHS compliant available
Superior Throwing Power — even coating on complex, recessed, and hollow parts
Eco-Friendly — cyanide-free chemistry, minimal environmental footprint
Bright Finish — excellent aesthetic appearance with good ductility
Passivation Compatible — accepts blue, yellow, and black chromate finishes
Iron Zinc Electroplating
Premium Service

Iron Zinc Electroplating

Iron Zinc (Zinc-Iron alloy) electroplating is an advanced alloy plating process that combines the corrosion resistance of zinc with the enhanced hardness and wear resistance of iron alloys. The result is a coating that outperforms pure zinc in demanding environments.

With iron content typically between 0.4–0.8%, the Zn-Fe alloy provides significantly improved salt spray test performance and is widely specified by OEMs in the automotive, heavy equipment, and infrastructure sectors.

Technical Specifications
  • Alloy composition: Zn + 0.4–0.8% Fe
  • Salt spray resistance: 200–500 hrs
  • Coating thickness: 8–25 microns
  • Enhanced wear resistance
  • Superior hydrogen embrittlement relief
  • Suitable for high-strength steels
Superior Corrosion Protection — 2–3x better than pure zinc plating
Enhanced Hardness — improved wear and abrasion resistance
OEM Approved — meets Tata, Mahindra, JCB specifications
Excellent Paintability — superior adhesion for subsequent paint/powder coating

Passivation (chromate conversion coating) is applied after zinc plating to significantly enhance corrosion resistance and provide a distinctive appearance. We offer four passivation types to meet all OEM and industry specifications.

Blue Passivation

Clear/blue chromate conversion coating. Provides a bright, clean appearance with good corrosion resistance. Most commonly used for general hardware and fasteners.

Salt spray: 48–72 hrs

Trivalent Yellow Passivation

RoHS-compliant trivalent chromium (Cr³⁺) yellow passivation. Environmentally safe alternative to hexavalent with excellent corrosion protection for automotive and export parts.

Salt spray: 120–200 hrs

Hexavalent Yellow Passivation

Traditional hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺) yellow passivation. Provides maximum corrosion resistance for non-export, heavy-duty industrial applications.

Salt spray: 200–300 hrs

Black Passivation

Premium black chromate conversion coating for aesthetic and functional requirements. Widely used in automotive trim, electrical components, and precision instruments.

Salt spray: 96–144 hrs
